  1. Diabetic/weight-loss shake

    1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
    1 teaspoon Ceylon Cinnamon
    1 Tablespoon orange flavored Metamucil
    1 glass of water

    Shake the drink vigorously and drink in the morning before breakfast. Later in the day, I drink a second shake before evening meal but I decrease the Turmeric powder to 1/4 teaspoon and sometimes substitute a diet drink such as Crystal lite for Metamucil.
